6.  Subject to the provisions of these Rules or of any direction made for any purpose specified in these Rules, the Governor must seek to eliminate within the prison discrimination[F2, harassment and victimisation] against prisoners on the grounds of—

(a)age;

(b)disability;

(c)gender reassignment;

(d)marriage and civil partnership;

(e)pregnancy and maternity;

(f)race;

(g)religion or belief;

(h)sex;

(i)sexual orientation; or

(j)other status.
