Whereas under section 17(1) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973(1) the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland on 17th January 2001 submitted to the Scottish Ministers a report on a review conducted under section 14(2) of that Act in which they made proposals for the transfer of a certain area between Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council, and in which they also made proposals for changes in electoral arrangements consequential on that change in local government areas; Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 17(2) of the said Act and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf the Scottish Ministers hereby make the following Order to give effect to the proposals of that Commission as submitted to them:

1973 c. 65. The functions of the Secretary of State were transferred to the Scottish Ministers by virtue of section 53 of the Scotland Act 1998 (c. 46).
