The Transport (2011 Act) (Commencement No.2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2015

The Department for Regional Development makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 48 of the Transport Act (Northern Ireland) 2011(1).

Citation and interpretation

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Transport (2011 Act) (Commencement No.2) Order (Northern Ireland) 2015.

(2) In this Order—

“the Act” means the Transport Act (Northern Ireland) 2011.

Appointed day

2.  The appointed day for the coming into operation of the provisions of the Act specified in the Schedule for the purposes only of making regulations is 23rd June 2015.

This is the second Commencement Order to be made under the Transport Act (Northern Ireland) 2011.

Article 2 brings into operation sections 1, 4, 5, 8, 13 and 14 for the purposes only of making regulations.
