Part 3 – Miscellaneous and General

13.Part 3 of the Act contains miscellaneous and general provisions. It provides for the subscription and signing of documents by bodies of trustees (section 79) and requires a sheriff to refuse a petition for the appointment of a person as executor dative where they are satisfied that the person has been convicted of, or is being prosecuted for, the murder or culpable homicide of the deceased (section 80).
