Section 21 – Measures to prevent damage by deer

145.Section 21 amends section 10(1) of the 1996 Act and repeals section 11 of that Act. The combined effect of these changes is to enable SNH to take action to prevent damage by deer to the natural heritage (as defined in section 45 of the 1996 Act) or environment on the same basis and following the same process as is set out in section 10 of the 1996 Act.
