http://www.legislation.gov.uk/asp/2026/3/section/4/enactedSchools (Residential Outdoor Education) (Scotland) Act 2026enKing's Printer for Scotland2026-02-12 4 1 This section and sections 3 and 5 come into force on the day after Royal Assent. 2 Sections 1 and 2 come into force on such day as the Scottish Ministers may, by regulations, appoint. 3 Regulations under subsection (2) may— a include transitional, transitory or saving provision, b make different provision for different purposes, including different provision for— i different descriptions of pupil, ii different descriptions of school, iii different education authorities or grant-aided schools. 4 The Scottish Ministers must make regulations under subsection (2) no later than 30 September 2027.
