57 Family group decision-making: information to be provided to Principal Reporter S

(1) The Children’s Hearings (Scotland) Act 2011 is amended as follows.

(2) In section 60 (local authority’s duty to provide information to Principal Reporter), after subsection (4) insert—

“(5) Where subsection (2) applies the local authority must also provide the Principal Reporter with information on—

(a) the availability of family group decision-making services in the area,

(b) whether family group decision-making services have been, or will be, considered in relation to the child,

(c) the response and any report or views gathered through any family group decision-making services that have already been provided.

(6) In subsection (5), “family group decision-making service” has the same meaning as in Part 12 of the Children and Young People (Scotland) Act 2014.”.
