Prospective
(1)Each local authority must establish a procedure for considering representations (including complaints) made to them by any person falling within section 1(2), (3) or (6) about the discharge of the local authority’s functions under sections 1 to 3.
(2)The Scottish Ministers may by regulations make provision as to procedures established under subsection (1).
(3)Subsection (4) applies where a local authority becomes aware that a person to whom the local authority is providing advice, guidance or assistance under section 1 has died.
(4)The local authority must, as soon as reasonably practicable, notify—
(a)the Scottish Ministers, and
(b)Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland.
