<Text>Arrangements made by the Scottish Ministers under <InternalLink Ref="section-30" IdURI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/asp/2026/16/section/30" DocumentURI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/asp/2026/16/section/30">section 30</InternalLink><InternalLink Ref="section-30-1" IdURI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/asp/2026/16/section/30/1" DocumentURI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/asp/2026/16/section/30/1">(1)</InternalLink> may in particular—</Text>
<P3 DocumentURI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/asp/2026/16/section/33/1/a" IdURI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/asp/2026/16/section/33/1/a" id="section-33-1-a">
<Pnumber>a</Pnumber>

<Text>authorise an organisation to perform the Scottish Ministers’ functions in relation to the register (other than functions of making subordinate legislation),</Text>

<Text>provide for the Scottish Ministers to make payments to an organisation authorised under paragraph (a).</Text>

<Pnumber>2</Pnumber>

<Text>The Scottish Ministers must publish arrangements under <InternalLink Ref="section-30" IdURI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/asp/2026/16/section/30" DocumentURI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/asp/2026/16/section/30">section 30</InternalLink><InternalLink Ref="section-30-1" IdURI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/id/asp/2026/16/section/30/1" DocumentURI="http://www.legislation.gov.uk/asp/2026/16/section/30/1">(1)</InternalLink> in so far as they authorise an organisation as mentioned in subsection (1)(a).</Text>

<Pnumber>3</Pnumber>

<Text>An organisation authorised in pursuance of subsection (1) must perform functions delegated to it in accordance with any directions (general or specific) given to it by the Scottish Ministers.</Text>
