3 Types of assistance S

(1) Subject to any contrary provision in regulations made under subsection (2), aftercare assistance may include assistance in kind or in cash.

(2) The Scottish Ministers may by regulations specify, either generally or in relation to a category or description of persons falling within section 1(2), (3) or (6), the manner in which aftercare assistance is to be provided.

(3) In this section, “aftercare assistance” means assistance provided under section 1(1), (5)(a) or (b) or (8).
