http://www.legislation.gov.uk/asp/2026/16/section/2Children (Care, Care Experience and Services Planning) (Scotland) Act 2026enStatute Law Database2026-06-09Expert Participation2026-05-16 Part 1Chapter 1 2 1 A responsible local authority in relation to a person must assess the advice, guidance and assistance needs of— a each person who falls within section 1(2), b each person who— i falls within section 1(3) or (6), and ii has made an application to the authority under section 1(1)(b)(ii) or (4)(b). 2 The Scottish Ministers may by regulations make provision as to assessments for the purposes of subsection (1). 3 Regulations under subsection (2) may in particular make provision about— a who is to be consulted in relation to an assessment, b the way in which an assessment is to be carried out, by whom and when, c the recording of the results of an assessment, d the considerations to which the responsible local authority are to have regard in carrying out the assessment.
