Review of permanence
12Review of permanence
(1)
The Scottish Ministers must, no later than 2 years after this section comes into force, undertake a review of the impact of delays to decisions relating to the permanent home of children, including the impact on young children and infants.
(2)
The review must include—
(a)
consideration of existing research on permanence from Scotland and the rest of the United Kingdom, and
(b)
consultation with relevant experts on permanence.
(3)
The Scottish Ministers must prepare and publish a report on the review as soon as reasonably practicable after completing the review.
