The Certification of Death (Scotland) Act 2011 is amended as follows.

In section 14 (power to require documents), in subsection (1)(b), for “Scotland” substitute “the United Kingdom”.

In section 18 (medical reviewers to authorise cremation or hydrolysis), in subsection (1) (a), for “Scotland” substitute “the United Kingdom”.

(4)

The italic heading before section 17 becomes “Deaths outwith the United Kingdom”.
