Chapter 3Information standards

6Withdrawal of standards

(1)

The Scottish Ministers may withdraw an information standard at any time by giving notice on the information-standards website that it is withdrawn.

(2)

When an information standard is withdrawn—

(a)

the duty under section 3(4) to make it publicly available ceases to apply, and

(b)

the duty under section 5(1) to comply with it ceases to apply.
