17Threshold for Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 to apply

The Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 are modified as follows.

After regulation 5A insert—
“Power to amend threshold for contracts related to health and social care5B.
(1)
The Scottish Ministers may by regulations modify regulation 5 so as to change the estimated value that a relevant contract must have, or exceed, in order for these Regulations to apply in relation to it.
(2)
In paragraph (1), “a relevant contract” means a public service contract that is exclusively for the provision of a service, or more than one service, covered by a CPV code mentioned in regulation 76A(4)(c).”.
