10Young carer statement
(1)
The Carers (Scotland) Act 2016 is modified as follows.
(2)
After section 12(7) (duty to prepare young carer statement) insert—
“(7A)
The Scottish Ministers must by regulations prescribe timescales for the preparation of young carer statements.”.
(3)
Section 13 is repealed.
(4)
In section 42(2) (regulations), paragraph (d) is repealed.
