81Rural impact assessment
(1)
The Scottish Ministers must, no later than 12 months after Royal Assent, conduct an impact assessment of the provisions of this Act on rural and island communities.
(2)
On completing the impact assessment, the Scottish Ministers must—
(a)
lay a report on the impact assessment before the Scottish Parliament,
(b)
publish the report in such manner as they consider appropriate.
(3)
The report under subsection (2) must include a statement of the action, if any, the Scottish Ministers intend to take as a result of conducting the impact assessment.
