Regulations under subsection (1) may not require a relevant person to provide the same information in relation to the same house more than once in a 12-month period. 52 The Scottish Ministers may by regulations modify the meaning of “relevant information” in subsection (4) of the section to add or remove descriptions of information (see subsection (5)). They may also modify the meaning of “relevant person” in that subsection to add or remove descriptions of persons (see subsection (6)). Regulations under subsection (1), (5) or (6) may not be made by the Scottish Ministers unless a draft of them has been laid before, and approved by, the Scottish Parliament (see section 82(3)).
