SCHEDULE 2Temporary extension of moratoriums on diligence
(introduced by section 3)
1The Bankruptcy (Scotland) Act 2016 applies in accordance with the modifications in this schedule.
2Section 195 (moratorium on diligence: notice of intention to make debtor application under section 2(1)(a)) has effect as if subsection (2) were repealed.
3Section 196 (moratorium on diligence: notice of intention to make debtor application under section 6) has effect as if subsection (2) were repealed.
4Section 198 (period of moratorium) has effect as if—
(a)for “6 weeks” in each of the following there were substituted “6 months”—
(i)subsection (1)(b)(i),
(ii)subsection (3),
(iii)subsection (5),
(iv)subsection (7),
(b)in subsection (6)(b), for “13 weeks after the day on which the moratorium began under subsection (1)(a)” there were substituted “7 weeks after the day on which the moratorium would have ended but for this subsection”.
