I132C3C1C2Reports on use of places of safety

The Scottish Ministers must, as soon as reasonably practicable after the end of each reporting period—

a

prepare a report containing, in relation to that period, such information on the exercise of the power conferred by section 28 as the Scottish Ministers may by regulations specify,

b

lay a copy of the report before the Scottish Parliament, and

c

publish the report in such manner as they consider appropriate.

In this section, “reporting period” means—

a

the year beginning with the day on which section 28 comes into force, and

b

each successive period of one year.

The Scottish Ministers may by regulations substitute for the number of years for the time being specified in subsection (2)(b) another number of years.
