Section 61 – Meaning of the 1993 Act

208.Section 61 provides that any references to “the 1993 Act” in Part 3 of the Bill means the Prisoners and Criminal Proceedings (Scotland) Act 1993.

Section 62 – Ancillary provision

209.Section 62 provides that the Scottish Ministers may make, by regulations, incidental supplementary, consequential transitional, transitory or saving provision relating to the Bill.

Section 63 - Commencement

210.Section 63 provides that sections 62, 63 and 64 of the Bill come into force on the day after Royal Assent. All other provisions are to come into force on a day appointed by regulations made by the Scottish Ministers, and those regulations may make transitional, transitory or saving provision related to commencement.
