[F1 43A Application of this Part S

(1) This Part applies in relation to a private residential tenancy (in this Part, a “current tenancy”) of a property that—

(a) is in a rent control area, and

(b) is not an exempt property.

(2) In this Part, “exempt property” has the meaning given by section 17D(1).]
