Keeping person in custody
8Information to be given on authorisation
At the time when authorisation to keep a person in custody is given under section 7, the person must be informed of—
(a)
the reason that the person is being kept in custody, and
(b)
the 12 hour limit arising by virtue of section 9 and the fact that the person may be kept in custody for a further 12 hours under section 11.
