(1) The Lord President of the Court of Session may require a judicial officer mentioned in subsection (2) to reside ordinarily at such place as the Lord President may specify.

(2) The judicial officers are—

(a) a sheriff principal,

(b) a sheriff,

(c) a summary sheriff.
