Inclusion in the register
31Offence of providing false information in an application
(1)
It is an offence for a person, in an application under section 30, to—
(a)
provide information which the person knows is false in a material particular, or
(b)
knowingly fail to specify information required by section 30(2).
(2)
A person who commits an offence under subsection (1) is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale.
