This section and sections 100, 101, 102 and 105 come into force on the day of Royal Assent.

Section 93 comes into force at the end of the period of 2 months beginning with the day of Royal Assent.

The other provisions of this Act come into force on such day as the Scottish Ministers may by order appoint.

The Scottish Ministers may not appoint a day for section 1(1) to come into force which is before the end of the period of 2 years beginning with the day of Royal Assent.

An order under subsection (3) may include transitional, transitory or saving provision as the Scottish Ministers consider necessary or expedient.
