The 1981 Act is amended as follows.

Section 3 (areas of special protection) is repealed.

In section 4 (exceptions to sections 1 and 3)—

for the title, substitute “

in subsections (2) and (3) the words “or any order made under section 3” are repealed.

In section 16 (power to grant licences)—

in subsection (1) the words “and orders under section 3” are repealed,

in subsection (2) for “and orders under section 3 do” substitute “
does

In section 26 (regulations, orders, notices etc.)—
a
in subsection (2) “3,” is repealed,
b
in subsection (4)(a) the words from “, except” to “3,” are repealed.
