The Scottish Ministers may issue directions to the Convener as to the exercise of the Convener's functions (and the Convener must comply with them).

Directions under sub-paragraph (1) may vary or revoke earlier such directions.

The Scottish Ministers must publish any directions issued under sub-paragraph (1) in such manner as they consider appropriate.
