(1)The Council may—
(a)publish or otherwise disseminate information about sentencing matters,
(b)provide advice or guidance of a general nature about such matters,
(c)conduct research into such matters.
(2)In this section, “sentencing matters” means—
(a)sentencing guidelines,
(b)the practice of the courts in relation to sentencing, and
(c)any other matter relating to sentencing.
