36 Reports on proposals and policies where annual targets not met S

[F3 (1) This section applies if the Scottish Ministers lay a report under section 33 which states that an emissions reduction target has not been met.]

(2) As soon as reasonably practicable after the report referred to in [F4 subsection (1)] has been laid, the Scottish Ministers must lay a report before the Scottish Parliament setting out proposals and policies to compensate in future years for the excess emissions.
