The F1Lord President of the Court of Session may by order make provision as to—
a
training arrangements for JPs and future JPs, and
b
appraisal of JPs.

An order under subsection (1) may, in particular, establish committees to—
a
secure— adopt or develop suitable—
i
training schemes or courses of instruction,
ii
appraisal systems,
b
i
the provision of such schemes or courses,
ii
the application of such systems,
c
provide advice about training and appraisal.
