Disqualification from membershipS
6(1)A person is disqualified from appointment, and from holding office, as a member of the Commission if that person is—S
(a)a member of the House of Commons;
(b)a member of the Scottish Parliament;
(c)a member of the European Parliament.
(2)A person who has held any of the offices set out in sub-paragraph (1)(a) to (c) is also disqualified from appointment as a member of the Commission for a period of one year starting from the day on which the person last held any of those offices.
