The 1983 Act is amended as follows.

In section 119(2) (computation of time for purposes of Part 2), the words “Maundy Thursday” are repealed.

The amendment made by subsection (2) extends to section 119(2) only so far as it applies for the purposes of a local government election in Scotland.
