When the Clerk amends an entry relating to a member in the register, the Clerk shall keep a copy of the old entries for a period of 5 years from the date of making the last amendment.

Section 1(4) shall apply to the keeping of the old entries as it applies to the keeping of the register.

In this section, “the old entries” mean the original entry and any subsequent amended entry in the state in which it was before it was amended.
