Landlord's duty to repair and maintain S

19 Pre-tenancy inspection S

The landlord must—

(a) inspect the house before the tenancy starts for the purpose of identifying any work necessary to comply with the duty imposed by section 14(1)(a), and

(b) notify the tenant of any such work.
