F19EWidening access to Gaelic education
(1)
The Scottish Ministers may, under section 9(2), impose terms and conditions for the purpose of enabling, encouraging or increasing participation in fundable further education and fundable higher education in the Gaelic language and in Gaelic culture.
(2)
In this section—
“Gaelic culture” includes the traditions, ideas, customs, heritage and identity of those who speak or understand the Gaelic language,
“Gaelic language” means Gaelic language as used in Scotland.
