An environmental assessment carried out under this Act shall be without prejudice to any requirement under F3other retained F2EU law.

Where a qualifying plan or programme is co-financed by F4the European Union, the responsible authority, in carrying out the environmental assessment required by this Act, shall do so in conformity with any relevant provision of F5other retained F2EU law that is applicable by reason of that co-financing.
