The Control of Pollution Act 1974 shall be amended as follows.

In section 30F(6) (pollution offences), in paragraph (a), for “£20,000” substitute “£40,000”.

In section 46D(2) (non-compliance with a works notice), in paragraph (a), for “£20,000” substitute “£40,000”.

In section 49A(3) (non-compliance with an enforcement notice), in paragraph (a), for “£20,000” substitute “£40,000”.
