A reference in Article 3 to a provision of the relevant Directive is to be read as a reference to that provision subject to the modification described by paragraph 25(1)(a) of this schedule.

In sub-paragraph (1), “the relevant Directive” means Commission Directive 2009/90/EC laying down, pursuant to Directive 2000/60/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council, technical specifications for chemical analysis and monitoring of water status.
