Section 48 – Delegation of Strathclyde Passenger Transport Authority functions to officials

117. This section widens the powers of delegation afforded to Strathclyde Passenger Transport Authority. At present it may only delegate to is Chairman or to a sub-group of the Authority. The section will also give it powers to delegate as it may see fit to its Secretary, or to other officials appointed by the Authority.
