Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Scotland) Act 1965 (c.49)

In section 50 of the Registration of Births, Deaths and Marriages (Scotland) Act 1965 (events occurring in institutions)—

(a)

the words “nursing home" are repealed;

(b)

after the word “institution", where it first occurs, there is inserted “ or of accommodation provided by a care home service (“care home service” having the meaning given by section 2(3) of the Regulation of Care (Scotland) Act 2001 (asp 8)) ”; and

(c)

after the word “institution", where it occurs for the second and third times, there is in each case inserted “ or accommodation ”.
