(1)Schedule 4, which makes provision about the landlord’s obligations to repair a house let under a Scottish secure tenancy, has effect.

(2)The Scottish Ministers may [F1by regulations make provision for or in connection with] entitling a tenant under a Scottish secure tenancy whose landlord is a landlord specified in the regulations to have qualifying repairs carried out to the house which is the subject of the tenancy.

(3)[F2Regulations under subsection (2) may, in particular, make provision for or in connection with—]

(a)the maximum amount payable in respect of any single qualifying repair,

[F3(aa)the period within which an inspection of the house is to take place to determine whether a qualifying repair is required,

(ab)the period within which a qualifying repair is to be commenced,]

(b)the period within which a qualifying repair is to be completed, F4...

(c)the repairs which are qualifying repairs for the purposes of this section,

[F5(d)compensation payable in relation to a failure to comply with a requirement imposed by the regulations,

(e)any review or appeal in relation to a failure to comply with a requirement imposed by the regulations.]
