The General Teaching Council Power of Scottish Ministers to require Council to establish committees54In the Part amended by section 53 of this Act, after paragraph 16 (and the heading “Other committees” which immediately follows that paragraph) there shall be inserted—16AThe Scottish Ministers may, by statutory instrument subject to annulment in pursuance of a resolution of the Scottish Parliament, make regulations—arequiring the Council to establish such committees, for such purposes, as are specified in the regulations; andbproviding for the membership of any committee so established..
