In section 2 of the Judicial Factors (Scotland) Act 1889 at the beginning there shall be inserted “Without prejudice to section 6(1) of the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000 (asp 4) (Accountant of Court to be Public Guardian)".

In section 6 of that Act, in the proviso, after “apply to" there shall be inserted “ guardians appointed under the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000 (asp 4), to ”.
