Optional applications to the Welsh Ministers
81Powers to impose requirements in relation to applications to the Welsh Ministers
(1)
The Welsh Ministers may direct a planning authority to do things in relation to an application made to the Welsh Ministers under section 78 or 80 that would otherwise have been made to the authority.
(2)
A direction may relate to—
(a)
a particular application,
(b)
applications of a description specified in the direction, or
(c)
applications generally.
(3)
Regulations may provide that an enactment that applies to an application to a planning authority under the Welsh planning Acts—
(a)
is to apply, with or without modifications, or
(b)
is not to apply,
to an application of that kind when it is made to the Welsh Ministers under section 78 or 80.
