Appropriation, disposal and development of land held by local authority for planning purposes
265Land to which sections 266 to 268 apply
(1)
Sections 266 to 268 apply to land that a local authority—
(a)
has acquired or appropriated for planning purposes, and
(b)
holds for the purposes for which it was acquired or appropriated.
(2)
Sections 122 and 123 of the Local Government Act (appropriation and disposal of land by county councils, county borough councils and National Park authorities) do not apply to land mentioned in subsection (1).
