If the period within which a tree replacement notice requires a tree or trees to be planted, or a longer period allowed by the planning authority that issued the notice, has ended and any of the trees have not been planted, the planning authority may at any reasonable time enter the land to which the notice relates and plant the trees.

A person who intentionally obstructs a person exercising a power under subsection (1) commits an offence.

A person guilty of an offence under subsection (2) is liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding level 3 on the standard scale.
