Exemptions and reductions
180Exemptions and reductions: general
(1)
CIL regulations may provide for—
(a)
exemptions from liability for CIL;
(b)
reductions in liability for CIL.
(2)
In particular, the regulations may include provision that requires—
(a)
conditions to be met in order for an exemption or reduction to apply, or not to apply;
(b)
a charging authority to make arrangements for exemptions and reductions in circumstances specified in the regulations.
