Monitoring, reporting and advising functions

12Monitoring and reporting

(1)

The OEGW must monitor—

(a)

public authorities’ compliance with environmental law, and

(b)

the implementation and application of environmental law.

(2)

The OEGW may report on—

(a)

any matter that it is required to monitor under subsection (1), or

(b)

any other matter concerned with the making of environmental law or its effectiveness.

(3)

The OEGW must—

(a)

publish its reports under subsection (2), and

(b)

lay copies of the reports before Senedd Cymru.
