uk:target="true"><num>35</num><heading>Fees in relation to visitor accommodation licences</heading><subsection eId="section-35-1"><num>(1)</num><content><p>The Welsh Ministers may by regulations make provision for and in relation to the charging of fees in connection with the exercise of their functions under‍ or by virtue of this Chapter or Chapter 1 of Part 5 of this Act.</p></content></subsection><subsection eId="section-35-2"><num>(2)</num><intro><p>Regulations under subsection (1) may (among other things) provide for—</p></intro><level class="para1" eId="section-35-2-a"><num>(a)</num><content><p>the amount, or the maximum amount, of a fee;</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="section-35-2-b"><num>(b)</num><content><p>a fee, or the maximum amount of a fee, to be determined in accordance with regulations;</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="section-35-2-c"><num>(c)</num><content><p>different fees in different circumstances;</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="section-35-2-d"><num>(d)</num><content><p>reduction, waiver or refund of fees;</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="section-35-2-e"><num>(e)</num><content><p>the manner in which fees are to be paid;</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="section-35-2-f"><num>(f)</num><content><p>appeals against decisions relating to fees;</p></content></level><level class="para1" eId="section-35-2-g"><num>(g)</num><content><p>a fee to be recovered summarily as a civil debt.</p></content></level></subsection><subsection eId="section-35-3"><num>(3)</num><content><p>Before making the first regulations under subsection (1), the Welsh Ministers must consult any persons they consider appropriate and allow those persons a period of at least 12 weeks to respond.</p></content></subsection><subsection eId="section-35-4"><num>(4)</num><content><p>Before making the second
